The Object of The Game
The main objective of the game is to score more points by winning more tricks than the opposing team.
Determining Dealer and Dealing The Cards
The dealer is selected randomly or any player may accept the dealership voluntarily. The dealer deals 13 cards to each player starting from his/her left, one by one, face-down, in a clockwise manner. The last card(Which will be dealt to the dealer himself/herself) is dealt face-up. The suit of that card is the Trump suit for the round.
The player on the left of the dealer leads the first trick by playing a card. Each player takes his/her turn by playing a card to the center. Players take their turn in a clockwise manner. All the players have to follow the suit of the card led. However, if a player cannot follow the suit led, he/she can play a card of another suit.
If the Trump suited cards are played in the trick than the player who played the highest-ranking trump suited card wins the trick. If the Trump suited cards are not played during the game then the player who played the highest-ranking lead suited card wins the trick. A trick includes one card played by each player. As soon as the cards of all the players get finished, the game ends.
Scoring and Winning
The team winning the tricks over and above six tricks wins 1 point per extra trick won. The team with the highest score at the end of the game wins the game.
